The Danish photographer Una Streit Larsen has her base and photo studio in the heart of Copenhagen.
Her journey began already during her school days, and the initial experiences were gathered in the company of friends who eagerly acted as models. Life’s journey led her through different phases, but her love for photography was never forgotten. When she resumed photography, technology had undergone a transformation, and the digital era opened up new possibilities to rekindle her old passion for photography.
Humanity in all its beautiful diversity remains her central focus. She explores a multitude of portrait styles – from the raw and authentic to the polished and edited. Furthermore, she also delves into nude art, where the body’s curves and musculature create the image.
The source of her inspiration comes from various avenues, especially observing people and the nature around her. It is here that thoughts mature, ideas are born, and new projects take shape. Her projects have been showcased in solo exhibitions at Brøndby’s Cultural Center twice.
The yardstick of her success is always personal development and practice. When others can recognize her vision captured in the image, it elevates everything to a higher level.
When the photo studio doesn’t call, she is a skilled concert photographer, covering events throughout Denmark. Over the years, she has immortalized both Danish and international artists, nurturing a special love for the world of music.
Una Streit Larsen gradually delved into competitive photography in 2015 and in the past couple of years, she has also served as a judge in both Danish and international photo competitions.
