Mr. ATLE SVEEN
EFIAP/d3, NSMiF/d2, MNFFF/G, ENSFF/D1, MNSFF
Norwegian photographer Atle Sveen, born on a cold winters day in 1979 picked up photography in his late teens. What started as a part-time job as a freelance journalist for the local newspaper ended up being an important hobby. At the local photography club he met likeminded people, and this was an important place to share photos, experiences and learning. The club also had monthly competitions, and the spark for participation in local, national and later international exhibitions and contests was lit.
Although nature was the main subject early on, and still is, Atle was keen on trying different things and techniques. To this day that is still a great motivator, always learn and try to create in various ways. He was introduced to fine-art nude in 2013, and since then this has also been one of the main themes in his photography.
The last 10 years, he has been really active in international contests. Some great results have been accumulated and he was invited to join Stella Polaris Photogroup. A new place to share and learn, and to compete as a group.
