Mr. NILS-ERIK JERLEMAR

He started with photography in 1969, and got his first acceptance in an international exhibition in 1974, and after a break 1986, to pursue his professional life, he started competing internationally again in 2004. He rarely plans his images in advance, but instead lets the inspiration of the moment guide him, to create something aesthetically pleasing. Many of his images have been worked with experimentally, to let the viewer’s imagination take over.
Nils-Eriks biggest driving force has been to compete with his photos, which has resulted in many national and international successes. He has been awarded more than 1000 International Awards and almost 9000 accepted works in international exhibitions.
Nils-Erik have been Exhibition Chairman for almost 50 international exhibitions, digital as well as prints, and have been a part of the judging team for a lot of exhibitions worldwide. In 2013 he was elected as President of the National Association of Swedish Photography (Riksförbundet Svensk Fotografi – RSF).
Initiator and co-founder of the Nordic Society of Photography (Nordiska Förbundet för Fotografi – NFFF) and its president since the beginning 2015.
